There are many different guitar types, each having a different number of strings and frets. A guitar with 24 frets will have 4 octaves in total. However, if your guitar has 22 frets, the fourth octave will not be complete, and you'll get precisely 3โ octaves. There are many different ways to identify the octaves on your guitar.
